So sad no one has posted in some time- and I know some of you mamas have news!! Maureen, how is Hunter? How is having 2 kids?? Heather, how are you feeling?

Well, we're doing well in Paradise... it is actually surprisingly cold (for here) this winter. Yup, we're all wearing long sleves and pants... still in sandals though. Sorry-

It is hard to beleive Leilani will be 2 in just a couple months- time just flies by!

I just wanted to say Hi- and that I miss you and miss El Segundo so much! El Segundo is such a great town- Heather and Maureen, I feel like our friendships were still just starting! Anyway, I hope you're all well!

So sad that Eileen, Marion and Leilani are leaving for Hawaii!!!

Hi everyone! It's been almost 3 months since the last post! Basically, I'm just thinking of Eileen and Marion and Leilani (and Dixie too!) and feeling very sad that they are leaving for Hawaii in just a few days. I'm very happy for them, but just as we're gettin' to know them better, they are leaving the South Bay/SoCal for a better job in paradise! (The NERVE of them! Haha!) I know this part is gonna sound stupid, but thanks to the internet (whoo hoo!) we can always stay in touch! So Eileen, stay in touch with us on c-t-c Mamas and enjoy your new home!

Out for a stroller

Happy new year, mamas! Hope the holidays treated you well.

We are about to start the fun part of baby prep--shopping for gear! If you have any rants and raves about strollers (or those tempting "travel systems"), I'd love to hear them!

We will also be researching cribs and mattresses--any success stories would be much appreciated!

Heather's Halloween Pics!

Hi everyone! Okay, okay, Halloween was 2 weeks ago, but I just wanted to show off my kidlets! The best part is, their Halloween costumes cost me NOTHING since Bella wanted to be Ariel again (from last year) and Harrison doesn't have a say or opinion so I dressed him in Bella's old piggy costume! They look exactly the same in that outfit... Okay, nuff about my kids...

Attention Los Angeles Moms: Free Museum Memberships!

Hi, mamas. A friend of mine just told me about a wonderful program that provides any child a totally free LACMA membership till age 17! Also, when an adult accompanies that child, the adult's admission is free, too.
The program is called NexGen. Click the link, print out an application form (it's only half a page), mail it in, and wait for your child's membership card to arrive. Simple as that! I just mailed in Maya's application and am looking forward to the many (free, free, FREE) museum outings she and I will enjoy in the coming years.
