Out for a stroller

Happy new year, mamas! Hope the holidays treated you well.

We are about to start the fun part of baby prep--shopping for gear! If you have any rants and raves about strollers (or those tempting "travel systems"), I'd love to hear them!

We will also be researching cribs and mattresses--any success stories would be much appreciated!

Hope you are all doing well!

We love our Babee Tenda table- and I have heard nothing but good things about organic crib mattresses-
We have a co-sleeper, which we love- but at 8 months Leilani is too mobile to sleep in it anymore (it can be used as a play pen- usefull and very mobile!)
We have a Combi travel system- I highly reccommend the travel system, but as far as strollers go, I'd look for a big under-basket and a "one hand" fold/release- and big wheels-

:)
Good Luck!

Thank you! Those are great tips. Travel systems definitely look like the way to go--so convenient!

I LOVE my Maclaren stroller...It is the triumph...it is small, lite, and easy...It is not a travel system, but I found that with my second child it was much easier than the bulky travel system that I had with our first baby. I used the maclaren easy traveller which is like the graco snap and go to hold the carseat until she was old enough to go in the stroller...It might be a little more expensive, but I found it so much easier! Hope this helps...

Thank you, milkmama! That's great advice. Have definitely been leaning toward a snap-and-go type solution rather than the body-building travel system route. Nearly wiped ourselves out pushing those 30 pounders around the baby store--and there wasn't even a baby in them yet!

Maclaren looks like a lovely brand to check out. Will be going for another round of baby gear recon soon and hope to give those a whirl. Thanks again!
